Where Greg Rucka has decided to dip his toes into the raging current of Tumblr.

  • A Little Bit on Lazarus

From an interview Michael and I did with Daniel Glendening for CBR. This was our first “proper” shared interview on the subject, and both Michael and I were far more nervous talking about LAZARUS than I think we realized going in.

CBR sent me the interview prior to running it, which was very kind of them. I’ve been in novel-land, and never got around to going over it before they posted it - my fault entirely, not theirs.

If I had, I would’ve realized that we were using her old name “Endeavor.” A lot.

    An awful lot.

We have since changed our protagonist’s name to “Forever.” There are two reasons for this change. The first is to avoid immediate comparisons with the Young Inspector Morse series that’s begun, called Endeavor.

The second reason I’m not going to tell you about, because it’s thematically crucial to the story.

(edited to add link and for clarity)
